How a panel press bonds veneer and laminate
A furniture panel press applies even hydraulic pressure across the platens so veneer, laminate or glue-up stays flat. Hot presses heat the platens to cure glue quickly; cold presses hold at ambient temperature for a longer cycle.
Door plants, panel furniture shops and veneer lines are the usual buyers. Calibrated boards often come from a sander; pressed skins then go to a CNC router or edge bander.
Machines are commonly specified by platen size, daylight opening, tonnage, number of layers, and whether the platens are heated. Voltage follows the plant.
